Do I need travel insurance?

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended, which you are responsible for arranging yourself. Zululines cannot accept any responsibility if you choose not to cover yourself with appropriate insurance to cover your travel plans and the duration of the retreat. The online booking procedure includes a disclaimer in regards to public liability insurance.

What sort of clothes / items should I take?

Lightweight, cotton clothing
Alarm clock, torch, spare batteries, water bottle
Toiletries, first aid kit, mosquito repellant
Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes
Camera, film and spare batteries
Daypack, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, swimwear, sandals

In Byron Bay:
In addition to the standard items above,
Comfortable, loose clothing is recommended for the yoga and meditation sessions.
You may also like to bring extra layers of clothing and/or a blanket.

How much spending money should I take?

In Byron Bay:
All meals are included, you may want to budget for a massage treatment during the retreat and for any additional outings and possible transport, as there is free time in the afternoon.

It is customary according to Buddhist tradition, to make a donation to the teacher / spiritual guide. There is a donation basket in the meditation hall at Sangsurya where you can make an anonymous donation at the end of the retreat. $20 per person per day is a guide only.
